Hot-applied elastic joint sealant for concrete
HP 479 is a hot-poured joint sealant — a polymer-modified asphalt compound engineered for horizontal concrete joints, new and old concrete roadways, and general expansion joints.

How to use

Prep the joint: clean it thoroughly, free of dust, and fully dry.

Heat HP 479 in a double-jacketed kettle (no need to remove the plastic wrap or add sand) until molten, max 180°C, then pour into the joint at a recommended 140–150°C.

Let it cool for about 4–5 hours before reopening to traffic. Clean tools with kerosene or turpentine right after use.
